1. Training Program Overview
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for participation in private dog training sessions provided by Eric Ita (the “Trainer”). The training packages consist of private 1 on 1 sessions to be completed within 30 days from the date of (and including) the first session.
2. Payment and Refund Policy
Clients may choose one of two payment options:
Option A: Full payment upfront before the first session.
Option B: 50% payment before the first session (covers Sessions 1 & 2), and the remaining 50% payment is due before scheduling Sessions 3 & 4, or at the end of the first session, for 1 time sessions.
Option C: At least 20% of the first session, for single session bookings.
There are no cash payments. Deposits, partial or full payments can be sent via:
Venmo: @ericandcaprithepup
CashApp: $ericita
Direct payment via www.ericandcaprithepup.com (includes processing fee)
All payments are final. Refunds will only be issued if the Trainer is unable to fulfill their obligation to deliver the sessions.
A session consists of observation of your dog’s behavior to determine what the primary causes of the issue most certainly could be, an explanation and demonstration of the foundational training concepts and routines that need to be set, from that moment, on and off leash handling techniques and access to a laid out plan for at least 30 days from the first session.
Follow ups are at the discretion of The Trainer, unless client has paid for additional sessions. This can be done online over a 15 minute zoom session, via text message or phone call.
Due to the nature of the job, dealing with animals, inconsistencies in following plans, there’s no guarantee that any behavior can be indefinitely modified. Progress depends on the effort of The Client in following routines accurately.
Failure to complete all sessions within the 30-day period will result in forfeiture of any unused sessions and associated payments.
3. Safety Requirements
To ensure the safety of all involved parties, the client agrees to the following:
The dog must be leashed, kenneled, or properly muzzled (when applicable) upon the Trainer’s arrival.
The client is responsible for the dog’s behavior and safety precautions.
The dog must have up-to-date vaccinations prior to the first session.
The client must disclose any history of aggression, including:
Prior attacks or bites on humans or other animals
Known reactivity or aggressive tendencies
Failure to disclose this information may result in cancellation of services without refund.
4. Training Tools
The client is responsible for purchasing any necessary training tools, which may include:
Slip Leads
Prong Collars (Herm Sprenger brand only)
Kennels or Crates
Specific tools will be discussed based on the dog’s needs.
5. Communication and Homework
In order to ensure success, the client is expected to:
Maintain regular communication via text throughout the training program
Provide progress updates on homework and assignments between sessions
Sign up for free 30-day access to the Trainer’s online platform “The Member Area” (provided upon enrollment)
Failure to engage with the training assignments or communicate progress may hinder results and is the sole responsibility of the client.
6. Liability Waiver
By signing or agreeing to this form digitally, the client agrees to the following:
The Trainer is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during or after the training process.
The client assumes full responsibility for the behavior, health, and safety of their dog at all times.
The Trainer reserves the right to terminate training if the dog presents a risk to the Trainer’s safety or fails to meet the outlined safety standards.
